After a double survey of residents, the council dropped the proposal to drop Chithurst out of its name but did change its name to “Trotton with Chithurst Village Council” (instead of “parish” council).
It also decided to register itself under the .gov.uk scheme for websites / email as “trottonvillagecouncil.gov.uk” and this will be adopted as soon as the government approval process is complete. This will lead to changes of councillor email addresses and to a change in the URL for this website (which will also be reviewed.
